First, there is the bullet train. Once inside the Shinkansen, Miwon unpacks his euphoric melodies, haunting atmospheres, killer beats and sweet, irresistable pop songs. On "A To B", Miwon takes his love for electronic music to another level, making it even more accessible. Ranging from hands-down popsongs (the title track "A To B" is a hommage to/coverversion of Fleetwood Mac) to more dancefloor-orientated tunes like "Matchbox", clearly influenced by Cologne pioneers like Burger/Ink, and true ballads like "Another Term For", Miwon explores all possible angles of electronica. Featuring the talents of the japanese singer Maho Masuda, as well as Sibylle Fendt, Fleckfumie's Nick Gloeckner on guitar and Galaktlan on synths, "A To B" will help you getting through the winter in no time. And through the summer. And back again. From A to B.

Press reviews:

The final triumph of "A to B" is that it’s near impossible to pinpoint where the pop, techno, and cinematic elements of its author’s imagination shake hands. Kröz has developed his style to fill the album format comfortably, drawing meticulously on his previous venture to tighten his grip on context, and he explores an atlas of electric daydreams with his marriage of crunches and keyboards.
(George Bass / Cokemachineglow)

It’s incredibly good natured stuff and does exactly what electronic pop should – put a big smile on your face and allow you to disregard the rain pouring outside. Lovely.
(John Twells / Other Music)

From the spellbound cruise of "Matchbox" – its ticks like a speedometer snapping, its echoed keys like the blurs ebbing passed – to the finger-picked acoustic window-watching of „Lillilullaby“ to the wet-pavement haze of "They Leave in Autumn" (a song which, when heard on headphones, sounds immersed in distant, muddled sirens), one really can’t ask for a better title than A To B. As complimentary to night-driving as it is to daydreaming, this record showcases how atmospheric Kroez’s compositions can become.
